About This Teacher

In literature, a portal is a doorway into another world. This new world can be one of fantasy, of magic, of new technologies and matrixes. It can be a world separated by time or space from our own. It can be a world between worlds or even a parallel world. No matter how this new world takes shape or develops before our eyes, it still gives us new insight into our own world full of human experiences. These worlds allow us as readers to question and discover human nature and societal systems. In the end, literature is a portal into us.

This site is dedicated towards finding out who I am, and continue to grow into, as a teacher of literature.
